Founder & President
Matt Kohl founded Southern Nevada Recovery Fund with a simple belief: recovery thrives in community.
Through his personal recovery journey and ongoing service in the local recovery community, Matt has experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of fellowship, connection, and service. Over time, he recognized a recurring challenge - many meaningful recovery-focused community events struggled to get off the ground because funding was limited within traditional service structures.
Seeing that need, Matt created the Southern Nevada Recovery Fund to help support recovery-centered events, partnerships, and initiatives that bring people together in fellowship and strengthen the recovery community across Las Vegas and Henderson.
Matt has lived in Southern Nevada for 20 years. He is married and the proud father of three children.
Matt volunteers his time to lead the Southern Nevada Recovery Fund and remains actively involved in the local recovery community through service and fellowship. His vision is to build a stronger, more connected recovery community across Southern Nevada where individuals and families can find support, hope, and lasting connection.
Through the Southern Nevada Recovery Fund, Matt hopes to help ensure that recovery community events and initiatives have the support they need to continue bringing people together.
